  • The whole process, from the design to the hand-painting, is handled by myself in my studio in Melbourne.
  • All my jewels are made from Australian wood which makes them lightweight despite their statement-making size.
  • Every piece is hand-painted using acrylic paints and comes in a unique color palette.
  • In parallel of jewelry making, I'm also designing and hand-painting ceramics.

Funky Zebra Studio is a celebration of individuality, a splash of color, and, most importantly, a whole lot of fun.

Here are a few tips to keep your new accessories looking as vibrant and stunning as the day they left my studio:

Avoid Direct Sunlight: Just like us, these beauties prefer a little shade. Keep them out of direct sunlight to prevent any fading.

Keep Them Dry: Water and wood aren't the best of friends. Make sure your earrings and rings stay away from water. No swimming, showering, or dancing in the rain with these on, please!

Handle with Care: These pieces are crafted with love and precision. Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place, ideally in a soft pouch or jewelry box. They're not fans of rough handling or getting jumbled up with other items.

For every model, I offer a custom option where you can choose your own color palette. This allows you to create a piece that perfectly matches your style. Since custom orders are made from scratch just for you, they do take a bit longer to complete than our standard orders. Please allow 7 days for your custom jewelry to be made.

Sustainability at Funky Zebra Studio

My jewelry is crafted from Tasmanian Golden Sassafras, a stunning wood sourced right here in Australia and purchased from a local supplier in Victoria.
All the laser cutting and hand-painting happen in my home studio, where I carefully bring each design to life. I believe in supporting our local economy, so I choose local suppliers for my paints, printed materials, and other essentials. And when it comes to packaging, I opt for eco-friendly paper mailers instead of traditional bubble mailers.

I believe we can all participate in sustainability at our own scale. I’m not perfect, but I try my best to do it sustainably, making mindful choices that respect our planet.
