Hands of Spirit fue creado en 1992 por Karen como un vehículo para el trabajo de crecimiento consciente que ofrece a los clientes, utilizando cristales, trabajo de energía y enseñanza espiritual. Una inspiración interna continuó guiando a Karen a adquirir más rocas, por lo que se tomó la decisión de ir en un viaje de compra a gran escala a principios de 1998.

Unos días antes de su viaje, la compañía para la que trabajaba Karen fue vendida, y fue despedida con un paquete de indemnización de año y medio. Bruce ayudó a Karen como pudo, pero continuó trabajando en su negocio de fotografía escolar. En 2006 comenzó a darse cuenta de que Karen, que Bruce era perfectamente adecuado para unirse a tiempo completo en Hands of Spirit. Bruce había descubierto esto un par de años antes, ya que siempre había amado los minerales, era un gran fotógrafo, hombre de negocios, e imagínese esto, incluso había trabajado en la industria de la joyería durante 3 años y tiene una certificación GIA en clasificación de diamantes. ¡A veces tus mejores regalos están justo debajo de tus narices!
Bruce se unió a Hands of Spirit a tiempo completo en agosto de 2006, y desarrolló nuestro sitio web y tienda en línea con muchas fotografías hermosas. También tiene la responsabilidad principal de los espectáculos que hacemos en el área de Denver / Metro. En 2010, Bruce comenzó a comprar diamantes para una compañía en California bajo el nombre de Denver Diamond Buyers. La mayoría de sus clientes disfrutan examinando el Templo Cristalino mientras Bruce califica su diamante.
Mirabai, nuestra hija, se unió a Hands of Spirit en una capacidad de tiempo completo en 2012. Ella había estado trabajando con nosotros desde el inicio del negocio, e incluso participó en nuestro primer gran viaje de compra a la edad de 14 años. Ahora tiene un B.S. en Marketing de CU Business School, pero el "gusanillo del rock" nunca muere, por lo que continuó su carrera en joyería fina durante 3 años. En 2014, Mirabai recibió su título de Gemóloga Graduada del Instituto Gemológico de América.
Luke Poss se unió a nuestra familia cuando se casó con Mirabai el 13 de noviembre de 2013. Luke también nació y creció en Boulder como Mirabai. Luke se unió a la Guardia Aérea de la Nación en 2000. Ahora ocupa un puesto de tiempo completo en la Base de la Fuerza Aérea de Buckley. Luke se unió a Hands of Spirit a finales de 2014. Hands of Spirit was created in 1992 by Karen as a vehicle for the conscious growth work she offers clients, using crystals, energy work, and spiritual teaching. By 1995 Karen was so in love with stones and all the capabilities they offer, that she began searching to find special ones to offer to her clients for their personal use.
Bruce was definitely beginning to wonder about all the rocks that were showing up, and had a pretty clear idea that even though Karen was currently working part-time as a chemist, while doing her healing practice, she probably wouldn’t be working as a scientist for much longer. An inner prompting continued to guide Karen to procure more rocks, so the decision was made to go on a full scale buying trip in early 1998.
Then providence moved Karen and Bruce’s life! A few days before their trip, the company Karen worked for was sold, and she was laid off with a year and half severance package. Be careful what you ask for . . . . You may get it! Thank goodness for this gift, since Karen didn’t realize the time and energy required of being a keeper of so many rocks, while continuing her healing practice.
Bruce assisted Karen as he could, but continued working in his school photography business. In 2006 it began to dawn on Karen, that Bruce was perfectly suited to join full time in Hands of Spirit. Bruce had figured this out a couple of years prior, as he had always loved minerals, was a great photographer, business man, and imagine this, had even worked in the jewelry industry for 3 years and has a GIA certification in diamond grading! Sometimes your greatest gifts are right under your nose!
Bruce joined Hands of Spirit full time in August 2006, and developed our website and online store with many beautiful photographs. He also has lead responsibility for the Shows we do in the Denver/Metro area. In 2010, Bruce began buying diamonds for a company in CA under the name Denver Diamond Buyers. Most of his clients enjoy perusing the Crystalline Temple while Bruce grades their diamond.
Mirabai, our daughter, joined Hands of Spirit in a full time capacity in 2012. She had been working with us since the inception of the business, and even participated in our first big buying trip at the age of 14. She now has a B.S. in Marketing from CU Business School, but the “rock bug” never dies, so she continued her career in fine jewelry for 3 years. In 2014, Mirabai received her Graduate Gemologist Degree from the Gemological Institute of America.
Luke Poss Joined our family when he married Mirabai on November 13th 2013. Luke was also born and raised in Boulder like Mirabai. Luke joined the Air Nation Guard in 2000. He now holds a full time position at Buckley Air Force Base. Luke joined Hands of Spirit in late 2014. He helps run our Live Sales with Mirabai. We are thrilled to have him in the family and as part of the team!
