ARTIST STATEMENT
Cameron Hajagos
(born in 1990, Covina)
Creates worlds that transport the viewer to an alternant reality where corn octopus exist and bees that make candy give the consumer different abilities, such as being able to fly or blow fire. His works strictly with acrylic paints. By using popular themes such as realistic cartoons come to life in a surreal world where many creatures exist. Their is a story behind every painting where the viewer becomes transported into them. He is currently working on writing and illustrating a Children book about Bob corn and Pirate jiffy pop in search of the golden lollipops.
His paintings often refers to the story and world he has created.
Cameron currently lives and works in Covina CA.
