About the Company:
Multiple Material Arts is a small engineering/ design consulting firm that is focused on taking a customer’s idea and making it a reality. This firm is not a registered professional design firm, rather a firm that uses practical experience. Customer ideas can range from art to practical designs. Engineering research will be done for practical designs as needed before modeling. Objects and ideas will be designed using 3-D modeling for a variety of options including 3-D printing methods, large plotter prints, vinyl cuts, card stock cuts, and metals in a variety of manufactured fashions. The client tells the firm their idea, then research is done as necessary to come up with a design or a few designs. Once we are clear on the concept the customer wants to go with, we model something up. We present the designs to the customer, finalize the models, and then the object that is engineered can be created from there either by the client or through Multiple Material Arts. The design concepts can be delivered to the customer in paper form or through electronic formats (i.e., PDF’s, DXF’s, DWG’s, STL’s, etc.)
