Nature Bone Studio
Hello! My name is Jean and I am the creator behind Nature Bone Studio. I live and work out of Southern New Jersey and am driven by my passion for nature, glass blowing, art.
In my home studio I work to create unique glass jewelry and sculptures with borosilicate glass using flame-working and coldworking techniques. I draw inspiration from the magik of nature, an appreciation for Mother Earth and universe of thoughts within our minds. I collect and often incorporate bones, feathers and other natural materials which are ethically scavenged from various locations on outdoor adventures into my jewelry or sculptures or otherwise draw inspiration and guidance from them.
I am a c-ptsd survivor finding healing through creation as a therapy and tool for personal growth. You will almost always find me creating art or making things grow. I have a collection of over 150 houseplants and am an avid gardener. I love to constantly be learning about our world and the copious forms of life and many curious things within it. Through Nature Bone Studio I hope to be able to share a little bit of my journey with others through art.
