It is so nice to meet you! My name is Carolyn and I am a piano teacher based in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains. I've been teaching for over twenty years and have worked with students of all ages, skill levels, and learning styles. I currently have nearly thirty students but I've had up to thirty five at one time. It certainly keeps me busy, but I love it.
Note In Time was created after I spent hours upon hours designing paperwork for my own piano studio. I loved what I created and thought other music teachers like myself would love to have access to easy-to-edit templates so they wouldn't have to spend the same time that I did starting from scratch. Over the years I have picked up lots of tips and tricks to help make learning fun and memorable.
I've worked hard to design a system that can easily be put into student's binders so the student, parents, and teacher all have easy access to see what a student is working on and how they are progressing. I also noticed that students had a difficult time remembering the mnemonics for note memorization, so I designed a note reading chart with black and white graphics they can color.
