Hi! I’m Dr. Garcia, a scientist, biology educator, mom, and the creator of Nucleo & Co.

I’ve spent years studying and teaching biology, and one of my favorite parts of being an educator is watching the moment when something finally clicks, when a student stops simply memorizing science and starts getting curious about why things happen.

After becoming a mom, I started thinking about how much earlier we can encourage that kind of curiosity.
I created Nucleo & Co. to introduce real science to little learners in a way that feels simple, playful, and exciting. Our activities are designed especially for PreK–1st grade, with easy-to-understand science, large illustrations to color, and hands-on “little labs” that encourage kids to observe, predict, explore, and ask questions.

The science may be simplified for little minds, but I believe it should still be accurate and meaningful.
Whether your little scientist is looking closely at a handful of soil, growing a seed, or discovering what makes something sink or float, I hope Nucleo & Co. helps them realize that science is already happening all around them.
