A Passion For Creating
I have loved making things since I was a little girl. Do you remember those really ugly hook yarn rugs? Yeah. I loved making those. My mom taught me how to embroider and cross stitch, a wonderful lady taught me how to crochet, I made my first quilt when I was in my early 20's. Around that same time, an awesome friend got me into scrap-booking. I fell in love with painting. I started brewing craft beer. I LOVE baking and cooking amazing food. The process of starting with pieces and putting them together into something beautiful is something I have real passion for.
While working full time as a manager in the insurance industry, I bought a Silhouette Cameo to make fun thank you cards for my team. That event unexpectedly changed my life. I started watching hours and hours of YouTube videos, pinning multitudes of projects I could do on Pinterest...I started to realize just how many awesome things I could make! In 2020, I made a huge leap and left my full time job in Corporate America to focus on this passion and it's been so rewarding.
The software had a bit of a learning curve and I'm still learning every day. I love receiving custom design orders because it gives me more opportunities to learn and work with my customers to create the perfect item just for them. I continue to invest in growing my business and have now also expanded into sublimation products and laser cut/engraved items with a Glowforge - they are SO COOL! After I complete each item, I carefully package it in protective wrapping to ensure it will arrive undamaged and then rush to try to beat the mail truck that only leaves this very small town once a day.
I have always been a perfectionist. Each item takes me more time than it probably should because I want it to be stunning. My work is high quality because I feel that it's a direct representation of me. My products are durable because I want my customers to get good value for their money and to enjoy the item for a long time. Twenty years of work in corporate America working with customers and employees has equipped me with a world-class customer service philosophy. If you aren't happy, I'm not happy, and I will make it right.
I am a Washington State native and a U of W graduate. I moved to MT to a small agricultural community with my husband in 2016. Although I could pass on the long and extremely cold winters, I love the rhythm of small town life and the views that big sky country affords. It's truly beautiful here.
Thank you for supporting my small business and my passion for creating. My customers are truly the best.
