Handcrafted in the historic town of Richmond, at the foot of the Blue Mountains in NSW,
we pay tribute to the traditional Darug and Darkinjung custodians of our land.
Rawbatchsoap is crafted with only 100% natural ingredients: oils, butters & fats, herbs, flowers, earth clays, spices, pure essential oils, absolutes, resins and locally sourced milk.
"Completely free of synthetic ingredients" Most of our products are vegan and cruelty-free, making them gentle on both you and the environment.
The roots of Rawbatchsoap began with my beautiful mum, who was skilled in the age-old tradition of soap-making using ashes and whatever oils were available, a skill she learned during the post-WWII era of scarcity. Her inventive spirit and resourcefulness never faded as she continued to experiment with ingredients throughout her life. I vividly remember watching her and my aunt making soap in a big steel drum over hot coals - it was like magic to my young eyes. Inspired by my mother's soap-making skills, I bring to you the beauty of simple daily rituals. Rawbatchsoap embodies the beauty of these daily routines and the joy of using soap that beckons to be touched, used, and imagined.
