Hi, I’m Mike, the creative mind behind RetroBashDesigns. My journey into the world of retro design began with a love for all things vintage. Growing up, I was always fascinated by the bold colors and unique patterns of the past, and I wanted to bring that nostalgic charm into the modern world. I have been designing tshirts, merch, and posters for over 30 years. I started with rub on letters and copy machines and moved to Photoshop and Illustrator in 1999.
It all started as a passion when I was growing up there was nothing better than a new fresh hat and a new pair of shoes that was all I needed to feel Fresh and Cool. I started designing embroidered hats for myself, for things I wanted to wear I would come up with a new design for myself each month.
In 2022 I decided to take some designs to Etsy and on the road with me to Retro Video Game Conventions across the United States. I have improved my designs and experience with embroidery to get clean designs that look great and last. I have some great selling items that have been successful and some that only 1 or 2 people love. The great thing about my setup and printing on demand I am able to offer unique designs with no wasted inventory.
