Running a vintage shop has been a lifelong (okay since I was a teenager) dream of mine. I finally took the leap during lockdown when , like many people I was furloughed, and finally had the time to live out my dream (virtually). I won't pretend I wasn't terrified posting that first listing. Hitting publish on something you've quietly wanted for years is genuinely scary. But it turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made!
I'm based in London and I specialise in authentic vintage from the 1940s to the 1980s, with a particular love for genuine 1950s dresses, full skirts, beautiful construction, fabrics you simply can't find today. I source everything myself, and I still get a real thrill the moment I spot something special. That feeling never gets old.
What I love most, though, is what happens after a piece leaves me. Seeing a review that says "I've never had so many compliments" or getting a photo of someone wearing one of my dresses to their wedding- that's why I do this.
I feel genuinely lucky to be a small part of people's most meaningful moments.
