Everyone has a story of what truly motivates us. No matter our upbringing, geographical location or differences… it’s our “why” that pushes us to rise to every challenge and overcome
For me, my story began long before I dedicated myself to being the best creative I could be. As a child and into adulthood, I was drawn to music, dance and photography. If I could have been a professional daydreamer.. I wouldn’t have hesitated
Instead I chose a career in social services as an outreach worker, advocate and caseworker. Back in autumn of 2014, I picked up a paintbrush and budget paint set for the first time since middle school… and from that moment, I was hooked! 6 years later in the midst of the world health event, the daily pressure of being an essential/frontline worker finally took its toll.
In April of 2020, I left social services for good and began focusing on a healthier, happier and more self care centered way of life. Opening my Etsy shop was the first step in a brand new journey in sharing my love of nature, adventure and happiness through art.
I find myself most at peace, grounded and invincible when I lose myself within these Pacific Northwest forests, explore seemingly endless ocean sands and travel down trails nearly forgotten by time itself.
I am proud and humbled to call myself a full-time self-taught artist. I pour everything I am into every “moody” landscape and hope that each piece leaves you moved, urges you to keep going and welcomes you home.
