Second Life Icons exists to help bring the beauty of Orthodox Christian iconography into ordinary homes.
Icons are not meant to be hidden away in museums or reserved only for the wealthy. They belong in prayer corners, family homes, bedrooms, offices, and anywhere Christians seek to remember Christ and His Saints throughout the day.
Every icon in this shop is carefully prepared with reverence for the tradition of the Church. Rather than using newly manufactured frames, I restore and repurpose quality vintage and second-life frames, giving them a new purpose in the service of prayer.
The result is something both beautiful and practical: icons that feel at home in a lived-in prayer corner rather than a showroom.
Whether you are building your first icon corner, preparing for baptism or chrismation, adding to a growing collection, or searching for a meaningful Orthodox gift, my goal is simple:
To make faithful, beautiful icons accessible to the people who will actually pray before them.
Thank you for supporting a small shop dedicated to preserving beauty, honoring tradition, and helping Orthodox homes become places of prayer.

5 out of 5 starsI would very highly recommend this item to people just starting out on their prayer corner. I’m an inquirer and love that this affordable product is an option. The only thing I will mention is that I am not totally certain that the prayer rope is wool. It seems like synthetic fabric.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review and kind words! Making the Orthodox faith a little more accessible to inquirers and those beginning their prayer life is exactly why I started this shop, so your words mean a great deal. I also appreciate your observation about the prayer rope! We specifically source our prayer ropes as wool ropes, though I understand that the texture may feel different than expected. Thank you again for your support, and may God bless you as you continue your journey toward Orthodoxy!

5 out of 5 starsI ordered this set for our icon shelf so our children can see the feast day icon. It’s great that on the back of each icon card it has the commemoration, Troparion, and Kontakion. This product is a great addition for making the “little church” in our home.
