Art has always been my passion. I grew up in a small town, where my mom owned a quaint art studio and my dad was a talented photographer. Surrounded by creativity, I spent my childhood immersed in sketching and painting. Traditional art was my comfort zone, and I loved the tactile feel of brushes and pencils in my hands.
As I grew older, I attended art school, focusing on fine arts and mastering various traditional techniques. But as technology evolved, so did the art world. I noticed more and more of my peers venturing into digital art. Initially, I was hesitant to try it. I loved the feel of paint on canvas and the smell of pencils on paper. How could a digital screen ever replace that?
Curiosity eventually got the better of me. I borrowed a friend’s tablet and started exploring. At first, the digital world felt intimidating and alien. I struggled to replicate the textures and strokes that came so naturally to me with traditional tools. But I was determined to master it. I spent countless hours practicing, watching tutorials, and experimenting with different techniques.
Slowly but surely, I began to find my groove. I discovered Procreate, and it became my go-to app. The ability to create and customize brushes was a game-changer. I started developing my own brushes, inspired by the textures and effects I loved in traditional art. This process was exhilarating, blending my old skills with new technology to create something unique.
Creating brushes became a passion. I loved the idea of sharing tools that could help other artists transition smoothly from traditional to digital art. Each brush I design is a labor of love, reflecting my journey and the techniques I’ve refined over the years. Nature often serves as my muse. I find inspiration during long walks in the forest or quiet moments by the ocean. My fascination with retro sci-fi movies also influences my designs, bringing a touch of nostalgia to my work.
Most of my creative work happens late at night. There’s something magical about working under the stars, with my loyal dog, Canvas, lying at my feet. Coffee is my creative fuel—I have a mini espresso machine in my studio for endless caffeine fixes, keeping me energized during those late-night sessions.
Despite the challenges, I’ve learned to embrace change and stay optimistic. I believe in the power of perseverance and the importance of always exploring new horizons. My love for technology and gadgets keeps me on the lookout for the latest tools to enhance my creative process.
