Soy Nathalie y dirijo la tienda Song Thread.

Soy músico y enseño música a los niños.
Mi segundo amor es crear, sobre todo si tiene que ver con hilo y telas.
Me encanta la abundancia de colores, diseños e infinitas cosas que puedes hacer con ellos.
En mi vida diaria uso muchas bolsas de mano para llevar libros de una lección a otra. Por eso decidí hacerlos especiales, añadir detalles y colores para hacerlos más divertidos, únicos y reconocibles. Uno de mis favoritos es el bat tote, ya que felizmente cuelga de mi hombro mientras lleva mis libros para mí.

Otro arte de fibra que me encanta es el punto de cruz. Aprendí los conceptos básicos de la costura a mano en la escuela cuando era niño. Todavía recuerdo la bolsa de deporte que tuvimos que hacer con nuestras iniciales y todos los diferentes puntos que tuvimos que usar. Al mismo tiempo, encontré algunos de los trabajos de punto de cruz de mi madre y los continué, ahora cuelgan en su cocina. Con el paso del tiempo empecé a hacer mis propios patrones y ahora estoy vendiendo en Etsy.

Mi mayor sueño sería que mis patrones de punto de cruz se vendan en tiendas de punto de cruz de todo el mundo y que la gente solo esté esperando un nuevo diseño. Y ver mis bolsas de mano en la calle mientras la gente las usa.

I'm Nathalie and I run the shop Song Thread.

I'm a musician and teach music to children.
My second love is to create, especially if it has to do with thread and fabrics.
I love the abundance in colours, designs and infinite things you can make with them.
In my daily life I use a lot of tote bags to get books from one lesson to the other. That's why I decided to make them special, add details and colors to make them more fun, unique and recognizable. One of my favourites is the bat tote as it happily hangs from my shoulder as it carries my books for me.

Another fiber art I love is cross stitching. I learned the basics of hand stitching in school as a child. I still remember the sports bag we had to make with our initials and all of the different stitches we had to use. At the same time I found some of my mother's cross stitch works and continued them, they now hang in her kitchen. As time went bye I started to make my own patterns and now I am selling on Etsy.

My biggest dream would be that my cross stitch patterns will be sold in cross stitch shops all over the world and that people are just waiting for a new design. And to see my tote bags on the street as people use them.
