A mother-daughter design + vintage shop
Hi, we're Tara and Hayleigh, a mother-daughter creative duo based in Hamilton, Ontario.
Square Apple Design Studio started as Tara's after-hours creative project: a way to channel a lifetime of design ideas, too much pop culture, and a slightly weird sense of humour into things people would actually want on their walls. By day she runs a non-profit. By evening she's making printable wall art and Canva party templates that look nothing like the free template you almost used. Cherries, coquette, dark academia, witchy, Y2K. If it has a vibe, she's probably designed it.
Aveline Vintage Wear is Hayleigh's brand. And yes, she's a teenager who started a real, working small business while most of her friends were still figuring out their first debit cards. Together with her best friend Jaida, she sources and hand-curates personalized vintage clothing boxes: Y2K, fairy grunge, downtown, summer, whatever style you tell her you're after. Every box is curated specifically for the customer who ordered it. No copy-paste assortments.
The two brands share one storefront, and one kitchen table where we sort, pack, and ship every order ourselves. Square Apple downloads land in your inbox in seconds. Hayleigh and Jaida's vintage boxes are packed by hand and shipped from Canada.
What you'll find here: real personality on your walls, real vintage in your closet, real small businesses behind every purchase. We answer messages fast, treat customers like the cool people they are, and refuse to take ourselves too seriously.
Thanks for stopping in. 💛
