Stone Button Studio - a dream can come true
Davvero, è iniziato sul tavolo della sala da pranzo, con tutte le cose divertenti che ho collezionato. Deve essere stata una giornata piovosa, costretta a stare in casa. Probabilmente aveva una grande melodia che suonava, in vena di creare e avere quella piccola lampadina splendente; una nuova idea!
Ho un sacco di campioni di tessuto, che ovviamente non posso lanciare ... così ho fatto il mio primo sacchetto a mani libere per me, aggiungendo un pulsante di pietra e quella è stata la prima inserzione su Etsy tre anni fa. Venduto in due settimane. Era caldo! ! Quindi ho fatto di più e ho elencato di più. Ma non è successo nulla, fortuna per i principianti?
Quindi forse erano i bottoni di pietra che gli piacevano e ne ho molti che posso fare. Adoro collezionare quei piccoli ciottoli durante le mie passeggiate lungo le nostre coste, o qualsiasi altro in cui potremmo essere in vacanza.
Abbastanza sicuro, ho elencato una serie di cinque pulsanti di pietra ... andato... venduto:)
Felice piccolo me ha fatto la mia seconda vendita, con un sacco di visualizzazioni, sapevo che stavo per qualcosa.
Ed è così che gestisco il mio piccolo negozio; cosa è divertente da fare? Quale nuova idea mi verrà in mente dopo. Nel frattempo, ci sono molti perforatori di pietre su Etsy, quindi cerco di mantenere il mio negozio aggiornato con nuove creazioni. Naturalmente, tutto dipende dal tempo esterno. Se piove, di solito mi diverto al tavolo della sala da pranzo :)
Oh, sì, ho la mia collezione di pietre rare provenienti da tutto questo bellissimo paese. Sembra che pianifichi le nostre vacanze, povera famiglia, intorno a pile di roccia :) come il Grand Canyon, lo Stato di Washington, posti del genere; paradisi rockhound. Per me, una pietra trovata o un pezzo di vetro marino è speciale come uno smeraldo o un diamante, ma senza disturbare la Terra. È vero, mi piacerebbe trovare un opale, ma vedendo come quelli non giacciono intorno, passerò :) Mi meraviglio della quantità di tempo, pressione, calore e condizioni meteorologiche necessarie per fare un'agata, e quelli si trovano, quindi sono altrettanto entusiasta.
A mio parere, considero le pietre incastonate nel guscio davvero uniche, perché in realtà si sono fuse insieme, durante il processo di pressione, calore e tempo, o almeno così penso. Mentre poi si sbriciolano dalla superficie terrestre e cadono nelle onde dell'oceano, diventano più lisci e poi vengono espulsi dall'oceano e se sono fortunato, riesco a trovarli, scintillanti al sole del mattino.
Conservo alcune pietre, ne condivido la maggior parte; è più divertente continuare a cercare di più e scattare foto. E, naturalmente, fare un po 'di soldi per il prossimo viaggio di famiglia :)
Truly, it started on the dining room table, with all the fun stuff I've been collecting. It must have been a rainy day, forced to be indoors. Probably had a great tune playing, in the mood to create and having that little lightbulb shining; a new idea!
I have loads of fabric samples, which of course, I can not toss...so I made my first hands-free for me pouch, adding a stone button and that was the first listing on Etsy three years ago. Sold in two weeks. That was hot!! So I made more and listed more. But nothing happened, beginners luck?
So maybe it was the stone buttons they liked and I have plenty of those I can make. I love collecting those little pebbles on my walks along our shores, or any others we might be vacationing to.
Sure enough, I listed a set of five stone buttons...gone...sold:)
Happy little me made my second sale, with lots of views, I knew I was on to something.
And that's how I run my little shop; what's fun to make? What new idea will pop into my head next. In the meantime, there are lots of stone drillers on Etsy, so I try and keep my shop current with new creations. Of course, this all depends on the weather outside. If it's raining, I'm usually having fun at the dining room table:)
Oh, yes, I have my own collection of rare stones from all over this beautiful country. It seems I plan our vacations, poor family, around rock piles:) like the Grand Canyon, Washington State, places like that; rockhound paradises. To me, a found stone or sea glass piece is special as an emerald or diamond, but without disturbing the Earth. True, I'd love to find an opal, but seeing how those don't lay around, I'll pass:) I marvel at the amount of time, pressure, heat and weather conditions it takes to make an agate, and those do lay about so I'm just as thrilled.
In my opinion, I consider the shell embedded stones really unique, because they actually melted together, during the process of pressure, heat and time, or so I think. As they then crumble off the Earth surface and tumble in the ocean waves, they become smoother and then get expelled from the ocean and if I am fortunate, I get to find them, gleaming in the morning sun.
I keep some stones, I share most; it's more fun to keep looking for more and taking photos. And of course, making some money for the next family trip:)
