Hi, I’m Candace—the founder behind Studio Constructed.

My professional background is in Technical Design, where I’ve spent over 15 years working behind the scenes to bring garments from concept to production, for major brands. Throughout my career, I’ve collaborated with designers, pattern makers, and manufacturers to translate creative ideas into precise, production-ready pieces. That experience has given me a deep understanding of what it really takes to communicate design intent clearly and consistently across a team.

Alongside my professional work, I’ve also been building my own fashion brand, which has given me a firsthand perspective on the challenges independent designers face—especially in the early stages. From organizing ideas, to creating technical specs, to preparing for factory production, I’ve experienced how overwhelming it can feel without the right tools and structure in place.

Studio Constructed was created to bridge that gap.

My goal is to support beginner designers and emerging brands with practical, easy-to-use toolkits that bring clarity to the design process. The templates and resources I create are designed to help you stay organized, communicate professionally, and confidently take steps toward working with manufacturers and building your team.
