Beautiful pattern with very clear instructions and abbreviations guide/description. Love how it turned out. I bought two Malabrigo Rasta Laguna Negra to make two hats. The first i knit with the pattern suggested needles and I needed just a little more than one ball (by the way, I have knitted for over 45 years and I knit to gauge). Turned out beautiful! So I made the second hat with size 11 needles for the brim and size 13 needles for the body. Also only knitted 13 rows for brim. It also turned out great and was better for me since I have a small head (the other hat was for my daughter). Bought the Pom Pom on ETSY from Dannisdesignscrafts. I will make more of these hats as gifts!
