He estado cosiendo y creando desde que tengo memoria y he incursionado en casi todos los oficios y tipos de costura. Recuerdo la primera vez que vi una máquina de bordar en acción. ¡Fue fascinante! Comencé con una máquina Bernette Deco usada comprada en eBay. Vendí sombreros bordados para bebés, paños para eructar y otros artículos en eBay después de tener a mi primer bebé y decidí tomarme un descanso de la enseñanza de matemáticas y ciencias en la escuela secundaria.
Varias máquinas de bordar y 17 años después, di el paso y compré una máquina comercial de bordado multiaguja. ¡Me encanta y me estoy divirtiendo mucho! El año pasado, por capricho, decidí bordar y enumerar las etiquetas de las colchas, y ahora son mi mayor vendedor. Disfruto el proceso de diseño, jugando con mi software de bordado y haciendo todo lo posible para cumplir con la visión de mi cliente. Y a veces, todavía observo con asombro cómo un diseño se cose. I have been sewing and creating as long as I can remember and have dabbled in just about every craft and type of sewing. I remember the first time I saw an embroidery machine in action. It was fascinating! I started with a used Bernette Deco machine purchased on eBay. I sold embroidered baby hats, burp cloths, and other items on eBay after I had my first baby and decided to take a break from teaching middle school math and science.
Several embroidery machines and 17 years later, I took the plunge and bought a commercial multi-needle embroidery machine. I love it and am having so much fun! Last year, on a whim, I decided to embroider and list quilt labels, and they are now my biggest seller. I enjoy the design process, playing with my embroidery software, and doing my best to fulfill my customer's vision. And at times, I still watch in awe as a design stitches out. I look forward to seeing where my Etsy business goes from here.
