Virginia "Auction Junkie" and Treasure Hunter
Na 25 jaar als mondhygiëniste was ik werkloos, slachtoffer van een kwakkelende economie. Maar het duurde niet lang om te zien dat God me de kans gaf om me opnieuw te concentreren op de dingen waar ik van hou - mijn familie (een geweldige echtgenoot en 2 tienerjongens), praten met mensen en alles VINTAGE!
Zonder een idee te hebben wat ik aan het doen was, vestigde ik me in een van mijn favoriete vintage winkels en leerde veel van een aantal geweldige mensen. Ik heb de afgelopen jaren alleen verkocht op antiekshows en rommelmarkten, omdat de eisen van een padvindersleider en bandmoeder prioriteit hadden.
Ik ben een zelfbenoemde "veilingjunkie" en schatzoeker. Ik doorzoek werfverkopen, veilingen en vriendenkelders voor vermoeide, vuile oude meubels en andere edelstenen, knap ze op en vind nieuwe huizen. Ik heb ook wat werk gedaan voor vrienden die geen afstand konden doen van een gekoesterd meubelstuk of familiestuk.

Ik heb veel items die nog niet op Etsy staan. Als je op zoek bent naar iets in het bijzonder, heb ik het misschien of ken ik iemand die dat wel doet.
After 25 years as a Dental Hygienist I found myself unemployed, a victim of a struggling economy. But it didn't take long to see that God was giving me an opportunity to refocus on the things that I love-my family (a wonderful husband and 2 teenage boys), talking with people and anything VINTAGE!
Without a clue as to what I was doing, I set up shop at one of my favorite vintage stores and learned a lot from some wonderful people. I've spent the last couple of years only selling at antique shows and flea markets as the demands of being a Boy Scout leader and Band mom took priority.
I am a self-proclaimed "auction junkie" and treasure hunter. I search yard sales, auctions and friends basements for tired, dirty old furniture and other gems, refurbish them and find them new homes. I also have done some work for friends who couldn't part with a treasured piece of furniture or family heirloom.
