GENERAL INFORMATION

Particle size of this pigment is larger then our usual metallics and shimmers so please take this into consideration when purchasing.

These colors will require more water when trying to activate the watercolor. If you need help or have any questions on how to use these larger particle size colors please send me a message I will more then happy to help 😉

Some of these colors have a slight Colorshift hold them at a angle and with light from a different angle to get the best photo.

To get a thick consistency soak dry watercolor for a minute or two and then go in a circle with your paint brush to get a syrupy texture.

Please remember when manufacturing handmade watercolors it is quite common that air bubbles or air pocket will be present.
This absolutely does NOT affect the quality of the paint. Hence the reason why we overfill and pillow top our watercolors.

We are aware of the air pocket issue so the extra 15% of paint above the rim will compensate for any air pocket present.

All half pans come with a round magnet, magnets are very strong so please be aware if they slam together they may break. Also due to the recent glue change for health reason current glue may not be as strong as previously used adhesive.

Every Watercolor has been hand mulled and handmade. Making the watercolor medium/binder took several months to perfect the recipe. Each pigment is not the same. Some pigments tend to be thicker then others. All of our half pans are filled 2 to 3 times to ensure the maximum amount of paint in each pan.
Please do not consume paint and do not leave around small children and animals.
When taking wrapper off half pan slowly pull back. Some paint may become tacky due to the humidity in Central Florida.

When using watercolor in palettes please allow wet half pans to dry after use.

All paints are subject to eventual spoilage once opened and exposed to air and other contaminants. Most spoilage is a result of cross-contamination from common sources such as air, water, people, brushes and other utensils. Proper storage and usage will reduce potential sources of contamination and extend the life of your paint.
Paint products can become contaminated with bacteria or mold, which can lead to a strong.

I recommend dropping several drops of water onto the Pillow topped Half Pan, then wait for a couple of minutes until the pigments are being dissolved. Then mix well with a brush until the color reaches a thick creamy consistency. You can add more or less water to your half pan to get the desired consistency that YOU like. More water will make the color more transparent and less water will make the color opaque when applying to your paper.
The color then can be used directly with a brush or applied to both sides of the your nib for calligraphy.

A little information on air pockets and bubbles
When manufacturing handmade watercolors on a glass slab moving pigment and binder around will infuse air into the batch of paint and it is quite common and unavoidable to totally get rid of these bubbles.

These bubbles so not effect the quality of these watercolor what so ever.
And because we pillow top our half pans your getting extra paint in your half pan which will compensate if you happen to receive a watercolor with some bubbles or air pockets inside. if you receive a larger then usual bubble or cavity please contact me, leaving a review on the air pocket or bubble isnt the best way of contact. I strive to make each and every one of my customers happy.

International orders may end up being returned for various reasons including: non-payment of tariffs, incorrect address, unclaimed at post office, etc. If a package is returned or rejected, the customer will be contacted and will have to pay for reshipment postage (USD). If a refund is requested please note that the original shipping fees are non-refundable.
