These are natural scented 10 Inch Beeswax Taper Candles.

My beeswax candles are made using Beeswax from local Ontario, Canada Apiaries (Bee Farms). Where the bees are respected and honored for their contribution to a wholesome and natural made candle product, you will love the quality!

Any white powdery residue found on the candles is called "Bloom" and is a prized unique quality that only happens with 100% beeswax candles!
This bloom will not affect the quality of the candles or their burn.

The Dimensions of the candle are: 10" Inches Tall and 0.8 Inches wide at the BASE. (25.4CM Tall X 2.03CM Wide BASE)

Please note due to being hand poured slight variations in size will occur. Also, due to the various changes in natural beeswax the color may be slightly different.

These can be displayed in any proper holder on any shelf to add a beautiful ambience in any room that you choose, they are also great at reducing household odors!

These are hand poured with 100% local beeswax. Support local! Support the bees!

*Note that wicks are 100% cotton and contain no metals or other materials, however all wicks will smoke just after being blown out, that's why it is better to snuff the wick of a taper / candlestick with a snuffer to reduce smoke when extinguishing them. ALWAYS burn candles on an appropriate plate or holder!*

* As these are handmade and hand poured, the candles may have slight defects or variations, I believe this is part of a beeswax candle and that imperfections are beautiful! DO NOT expect 100% perfect candles!

TAPER / CANDLESTICK CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

- Tapers / Candlesticks MUST fit snuggly into a secure and proper candlestick holder. (You can melt the bottom of the taper and push firmly to help it sit inside, but make sure it is secure! Also, be quick!)
- If your taper is slightly bent or misshapen, it is very easy to bend them straight using your eye. They can bend due to temperature changes during shipping or when being packaged.
- These do not need trimmed unless they develop a carbon cap (Irregularly thick tip on the wick) or they just appear too long.
- Only trim tapers / candlesticks to 1/2 inch as very short wicks may cause dripping due to the candle flame melting wax faster than it can burn it.
- Wick should only be trimmed when the candle is unlit. If you need to trim a lit candle, extinguish it, trim it, and re-light it.
- If your candlestick holder is fragile be sure to extinguish the flame before it gets too low. (Some containers may crack, melt, or burn from the heat of the flame. This also makes removal easier.)
- ALWAYS place candles in a safe container / holder made for candlesticks.
- Burn candles away from drafts and airflow, as this will cause intermittent black smoke and uneven burning in the candle.
- DO NOT leave in reach of pets or children.
- NEVER leave candles unsupervised, even for a few minutes.
- To extinguish the flame it is best to snuff the wick of a taper / candlestick with a snuffer to reduce smoke when extinguishing them.
