Amanda trained in Art & Design at Havant College and completed her City and Guilds diploma in Interior Design and Decorative Effects at Chichester College.
After graduating with a First degree in Interior Design from Bournemouth University in 2000,
Amanda gained commercial experience in Home furnishings retailing with Marks and Spencer and John Lewis. As a Retail Manager and Visual Merchandiser Amanda was involved with shop refurbishment projects and successfully completed the Management Development Program (M.D.P.) with John Lewis.
In 2006 Amanda started trading full time as Create Display. Designing and making textile art wall hangings and interior accessories and also helping private clients with interior design and creative projects. Amanda is self employed and has been selling at fairs and events in Southern England. Last Spring the Create Display shop opened at the Bosham Art and Craft Centre at the historic and picturesque Bosham Harbour.
Create Display is inspired by the beautiful West Sussex coastline which lies at the foot of the South Downs. Much of the design inspiration for this collection is from enjoying life in the country and sailing and walking along the Solent coast.
