Hi there! I'm Britt, the creator behind Selah Script Co. Let me tell you a bit about my business and how it all started.
I am who I am today all thanks to God, and the wonderful family He put me in. My Aunt Christine and Grandma were both makers, and they nurtured that creative spark in me from a young age. My mom also instilled her amazing business sense in me, and my dad taught me the practical skills and problem-solving mindset of a carpenter. When I got married my husband supported every creative desire of mine and when my crafty mother-in-law gifted me her Circuit, I was given the tools I needed to start my business. All of these influences came together to create the person I am today, the owner of Selah Script Co.
I was surrounded by the breathtaking nature of Southern California, which quickly became a constant source of inspiration for me. The ocean, the desert, and the mountains were all sources of awe-inspiring beauty, and I channeled that into my designs.
It all started with a few keepsakes I made for friends and family. When loved ones got married, had a baby, went on vacation I would love to make them useful gifts. From there, my friends and family started asking me to make their loved ones special gifts. I started selling my creations and before I knew it, Selah Script Co was born!
The word "Selah" is a Hebrew word that means "pause" or "reflect," and that's exactly what I want my designs to do. I create personalized keepsakes that bring back special memories and encourage people to pause and reflect on what's most important to them. Every piece I make is carefully crafted with love and thought, making it truly special and unique.
It's been a wild and wonderful journey, and I'm so grateful to be able to do what I love every day. I hope that my story and my business can inspire others to follow their passions and create something beautiful.
