I decided to sell my handmade items at our local Farmers' Market the summer of 2019. Being an introvert, I thought it would be difficult to promote my goods, but I found I loved it. I would see friends and acquaintances every Saturday. My confidence grew and I didn't even mind getting up at 4:30 in the morning (most of the time). When I retired in October, I got busy in my sewing room and participated in a Christmas craft show in early December.

Then came Covid and the market was cancelled in 2020. I spent several months making masks, which was very rewarding. I decided to start my ETSY shop when the market was cancelled. It's been a bit of a learning curve but I'm excited to be here.
I make all handmade items. I've collected a LOT of fabric and some yarn so thought I'd try to decrease my stash a bit by making and selling useful household and gifting items. My potholders are made with toweling, old t-shirt and other fabric and scraps of batting. I add a hook so you can hang them as a small wall hanging if you wish. They wash and wear very well. My scrappy hats are colorful and fun. Baby (or toddler) receiving blankets are soft and good-sized.

Seasonal tablerunners and quilts will be appearing in my shop soon.
