Announcement    Since 2011, CBS Sunday Morning has shown about 30 of my sun faces as the segments fade to commercial. They featured my sun over sunflowers for the month of May in the first-ever CBS Sunday Morning suns calendar (2022), "Follow the Suns", produced by Simon & Schuster.

In 1999-2000, in the midst of a series of personal losses, I started forming sun faces and telling myself "the sun always rises." The work I was creating to cheer myself up resonated with other people and encouraged them as well. When someone tells me that my work makes them happy, that's the biggest compliment they can give me.
