Ik ben een multidisciplinaire kunstenaar die werkt met keramiek en zich richt op het snijvlak tussen kunst en alledaagse objecten. Mijn werk is geworteld in het idee dat kunst niet afstandelijk of exclusief moet zijn, maar juist aanwezig moet zijn in het dagelijks leven. Door middel van handgemaakte porseleinen stukken creëer ik kleinschalige werken die zowel functionele objecten als sculpturale vormen zijn. Elk stuk wordt individueel gegoten en met de hand getekend, en draagt sporen van een intuïtief, emotioneel en soms gefragmenteerd proces. Ik ben met name geïnteresseerd in thema's zoals mentale toestanden, culturele spanningen en de fragiele relatie tussen lichaam en geest. Deze ideeën komen subtiel naar voren op het oppervlak van mijn werken – niet als directe verhalen, maar als texturen, lijnen en vormen. Door alledaagse objecten zoals kandelaars of verlichtingselementen te transformeren tot artistieke expressies, streef ik ernaar een gevoel van intimiteit en aanwezigheid in persoonlijke ruimtes te brengen. Zelfs het kleinste object kan een verhaal, een spanning of een gevoel dragen. Elk stuk wordt langzaam en zorgvuldig gemaakt in mijn atelier in Turkije.

I am a multidisciplinary artist working with ceramics, focusing on the intersection between art and everyday objects. My practice is rooted in the idea that art should not be distant or exclusive, but present within daily life. Through handmade porcelain pieces, I create small-scale works that exist both as functional objects and as sculptural forms. Each piece is individually cast and hand-drawn, carrying traces of an intuitive, emotional, and sometimes fragmented process. I am particularly interested in themes such as mental states, cultural tension, and the fragile relationship between the body and the mind. These ideas subtly emerge on the surfaces of my works — not as direct narratives, but as textures, lines, and forms. By transforming ordinary objects like candle holders or lighting elements into artistic expressions, I aim to bring a sense of intimacy and presence into personal spaces. Even the smallest object can carry a story, a tension, or a feeling. Each piece is made slowly and carefully in my studio in Turkey.
