1803 Studios: Handmade, Sustainable, Useful
1803 Studios began out of a love for crocheting and a desire to do something useful with my time while binge watching television.
I first learned out to crochet from my grandmother who loved to spend time making all of her grandchildren afghans before she passed away. I stopped crocheting for a while and picked it back up in college when I needed to figure out a way to focus during long lectures. I have continued to do this after graduation to use my time watching TV more valuable.
All of the items in my shop are made by me during my free time when I am not working my full-time job or doing grad school (yeah, I'm pretty busy haha).

I have begun caring more and more for our environment and recently trying to see how I can contribute. I have decided one way to do that is to create a section of my shop that takes yarn someone would normally throw out or not know what to do with, and create something useable.
Because of that, I do not throw away a single inch of yarn and keep it for a potential future project. I also search for people looking to get rid of leftover yarn and grab it up so I can make something beautiful from it.
This Collection is made up of one-of-a-kind and unique listings as I never know what yarn I am going to have. Check back often because you might just find your favorite new accessory.
