Payments are handled securely through Etsy Payments or PayPal and require immediate payment upon completion of your order as per Etsy's guidelines.
I accept all major credit cards via PayPal, which allows for Debit and Credit card payments without a PayPal account. I accept postal money orders from UK customers only.
PayPal is safe, secure and easy to use!
To pay with a credit card choose the PayPal option and then “continue without a PayPal account” link on the new PayPal page.

Please note, if you choose to pay with a PAYPAL cheque, funds may not clear for up to a week.
I will post goods upon clearance of funds. I will notify you immediately about any possible delays in your order.

Packages to the UK will be sent by Signed for Second Class Mail to help minimise your costs for items under £20 (proof of postage but no tracking). Other items will be shipped via Royal Mail or other using the most economical method taking into account the item's value.

Overseas packages will be sent via 'Tracked and Signed For' mail where available.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Import duties, taxes/Customs charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility and they may be imposed upon the delivery of your parcel by your local Customs/Postal office.
Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. Labels are generated automatically with all the information pertaining to the sale. Please do not request modifications to the customs forms. All international packages will be marked with the actual value of the item. Please do not ask me to adjust the value. This is an official document and therefore not subject for negotiation. Thank you for your understanding.

All items are securely packed using recycled materials where possible, and shipped promptly once payment confirmation is received.

Once your payment is received, please allow 3-5 working days for your order to be prepared and shipped (and very often sooner!).
I will always let you know when your order is en route by email/convo and by marking your order as shipped in your purchase section.

Within the UK you should expect to receive your items within 5 working days
International customers should receive their orders within 7-12 working days but that is just an estimate. Please be aware that there is a chance that items may be held up in customs and take longer to arrive.

No unmanned PO BOXES PLEASE!!!!

What happens if I dont receive my item?

Please bear in mind that your order is shipping from the UK
If you live outside of the UK I would not consider an item “missing” until at least 21 working days have passed since shipping.
If your item is missing do let me know and I will provide you with all of the information I can for you to make a claim through your local post office.

Unfortunately on occasion items do go missing in the post and although I cannot be held responsible for this, I always retain Proof of Posting for every shipment and will do everything possible to help you seek compensation from this end.

Please note that due to the extra paperwork and administration required due to German Packaging Law I can no longer send packages to Germany. Any orders placed will be cancelled and monies refunded.

Please remember these pieces are vintage handmade items. Some are 40-50 years old and have had many adventures. They are not brand new and there might be appropriate wear at times. That is the beauty and magic of a vintage piece....

All garments, unless stated otherwise, are carefully washed, line dried and ready to be worn!

If you have your eye on something and would like to reserve it, just drop us a line.

We take great efforts to ensure that all items in the shop are accurately represented and described.
Vintage clothing is almost always pre-loved/worn so some wear is to be expected.
We try our best to describe any major flaws to the best of our knowledge.

Vintage items are NOT sized the same as modern pieces and generally run A LOT smaller. Please know your measurements and use the measurements provided in the listing to compare with an item that fits you well, that you already own. Measurements are that of the GARMENT, not to be confused with your measurements. Do allow for comfort and ease of wear; you should allow at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) for ease of fit, and more for outer garments such as coats. I do my best to be accurate, but all measurements are approximate. Waist, bust, hip measurements are ALL THE WAY AROUND, not to be doubled. (Example: Waist 28" does not mean the item has a 56" waist.)
Don't assume garments will stretch or 'give' a little to fit - most vintage garments won't! In fact, they don't like stress because they are old and sometimes a bit fragile. This might sound obvious, but if those fibres and seams are 60 years old, for example, you can't expect the same performance and durability as a new garment.

Accessories and complementary garments on the photos are not included in the listing of the item.

When it comes to determining size the best thing to do is to use the measurements of a garment that fits you well as a basis and compare.
