From childhood dream to handcrafted reality
The 22paperdesign story goes back about 20 years. I was just a little girl with a love for drawing and crafting. For every birthday, Father's Day, Mother's Day and every holiday in between, I would sit down and create a handmade card. To this day, my mother still has a hat box full of the designs I created, some I'm sure are interesting, to say the least.
By the time I was in college, I was still creating and my dad gave me the wildest idea, "why don't you turn this into a business?" I sat on this statement for a while. Were my designs good enough? Would people actually like them? We are easily are worst critique, but by the end of college I was ready to make the leap and turn my dream into a reality.
Coming up with the name for my shop was surprisingly easy. The number 22 has been a reoccurring number in my life with a lot of special events taking place on the 22nd of several months. Therefore, 22paperdesign was born.
