2 Roses is an artistic collaboration between designers Corliss Rose, and John Rose.
The studio is driven by relentless exploration and experimentation with unusual materials. While the studio does produce limited editions, 2Roses is known internationally for their stunningly prolific output of highly original one-of-a-kind pieces.
2-Roses have made their mark on American Art Jewelry with a individualistic style that has combined a dizzying array of innovative and unorthodox materials including, electronics, fishing lures, and an endless variety of organic and man-made materials. Classically trained artists, 2Roses combine traditional old-school craftsmanship and skill with cutting edge sensibility and a wicked sense of humor. Many of their pieces connect the ancient approach of using found objects for adornment, with the 21st century, where so many more things can be found. As such, 2 Roses jewelry is at once a statement of tradition and a reflection of our contemporary world.
2 Roses work has been widely published and exhibited throughout the U.S, Europe and Asia including the Victoria & Albert Museum, The Hermitage, Boston Museum of Art, Houston Museum of Art, Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, Museum of Arts and Design and the Portland Museum of Craft.
