Hello! This is Anne, one of the 2 sisters of 2 Sisters Handmade Shop. My sister Christi, is one of the "sisters" too.

We created our Etsy shop to share our handmade crochet and knit designs and creations. Both of us have "creativity" in our blood. We both have been painting, sewing, knitting, and crocheting for years.

My sister was taught how to crochet at a very young age by our Uncle Ben. She taught herself how to knit. Now, she loves to knit and crochet using soft and unusual yarns as well as bulky yarns.

I was taught to crochet by a lovely, lovely older friend who I called "Mother Dear." This was years ago, and have been crocheting all types of items for many years. I love to sit in my big "crochet" chair with a new skein of yarn and just begin crocheting, just to see what wants to be created.

Crocheting, for me, is a wonderful meditation tool. Most of the time I crochet in the wee hours of the morning, in complete silence.

It is incredibly exciting to know our handmade infinity scarves, lap blankets, slouchy beanies and other knitwear has found homes all over the world!

Although setting up an Etsy Shop is challenging, it is also very rewarding. Each piece created gives us a quite a sense of accomplishment.
