I am Alex, and I’m a nerd.
Also I’m a perfectionist to my very core. Some believe it’s a mental problem but I don’t think so! When we talk about absolutely perfect things there’s no compromise acceptable.
Five years ago, I was desperately looking for a perfect tourist backpack made of high-quality genuine leather. Guess what? I didn’t find one even after having taken a peep into all the shops I could. So, I asked my friend who worked in a neighbouring car repair shop, to help me in sewing my first leather backpack. You’re really lucky you didn’t see what we got on that first try. It took us 24 more tries and 3 month of work to sew my absolutely perfect backpack. While working, I've got an insight that I wanna move on creating awesome leather goods.
My wife, our kids and, I am pretty sure, our dog Diesel greatly supported me! Then we had to name my new passion. When I was young my favourite rock band was 30 Seconds To Mars, and suddenly it came to my mind — 30 Seconds To Craft! Just 30 seconds to order and you’re in a fabulous world of perfectly crafted leather things.

The bag arrived also a week earlier than estimated so excellent on that front and I appreciated the conversation I had with the seller very much to clarify some items of the personalisation, this was done swiftly and excellently, all around a great experience.

4 out of 5 starsThe bag is beautifully made and feels very robust. I use it as my everyday bag for walking my dogs, and it fits perfectly with my linen and heritage-style outfits. The leather has a lovely character and I expect it to age beautifully over time. The only disappointment for me were the shiny gold metal fittings. In my opinion, they don’t match the otherwise rustic look of the bag at all. Unfortunately, this wasn’t obvious in the product photos, where the hardware is difficult to see. I had expected a more muted or antique brass finish. I decided to keep the bag because the quality is excellent, but I have even considered replacing the hardware to better match the overall style. Overall, I’m very happy with the bag, but I think the product photos could show the hardware more clearly so buyers know exactly what to expect.

Alex only started working on the bag once everything had been discussed in detail. Wonderful leather, firm, with a good but not overpowering leather smell.
