Creating and Contributing...
321Joy is about Creating. And Contributing.
I am a mom to four small boys (6 and under), and 321Joy started as a way for me to explore my creative side, have an outlet (that doesn't involve changing diapers or cleaning up after kiddos all day!!), and allow me to use my gifts and abilities in a practical way.
In addition to creating, however, 321Joy is about contributing.
When our firstborn son was born with a post-natal diagnosis of Down syndrome, we were ushered into a whole new community. As our son has grown over the past six years, so has my desire for advocacy, for inclusion, for acceptance, for respect, and for dignity for every individual.
321Joy began as a way to be able to give back to the Down syndrome community in practical ways. 10% of all of the profits from 321Joy goes back into organizations that touch the lives of individuals with Down syndrome and their families. From time to time I will highlight, either here on Etsy or through social media (Instagram: @321_joy), where the donations are going.
