Care instructions
With winter approaching please take care when adjusting or tightening the ball and socket joint and when seating the cradle on the bracket. By it's nature ABS is brittle when cold. Please take care and sure any adjustments are done with the plastic above 60f.
I send the arms pre-assembled because when I assemble them I either do it when the socket is still hot on the printer or gently warm it with a heat gun before seating the ball and tightening down the nut the first time. This forms the socket to contour of the ball and ensures a tight fit. I highly recomend against trying to remove the ball from the socket. You will most likely damage it.
