Who does our printing?
In our goal to support the Canadian job market, we are proudly partnered with a Canadian fulfilment centre. They are located in Oakville, Ontario and take care of our on-demand supplies, printing and shipping operation. For us this is essential as it means avoiding overproduction and textile waste as 92 million tons of textile is going to waste in the fashion industry each year. It also means each order is custom printed on the spot special for you!
Where is our apparel from?
We have shopped around for the best quality and most comfortable apparel. The three great suppliers we use include Independent Trading Co, Bella & Canvas, and Next Level Apparel. All of these companies are WRAP certified (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) factories that are committed to the highest ethical standards of conduct and best quality practices.
What is our print method?
DTG (direct to garment) prints ink directly into the fibers of the garment creating a long lasting product. Our printing partner uses inks that are free from harmful Phthalates and lead which are verified and laboratory tested to the highest standards in the world. In the decorating process, they use only natural and biodegradable products and chemicals. We also use embroidery for select items!
How do I care for my apparel?
Machine wash your apparel items inside out in cold water only. Tumble dry on low or hang to dry for best results. If ironing, iron inside out on cool and do not iron directly on the print. Following these care instructions will preserve your items by avoiding fading and/or cracking.
Do you accept returns?
We accept returns for damaged or defective items only. Please inspect your item when received, if you have any concerns please email us within 14 days and provide your name and order # with the heading "Request for Return". We look forward to making things right with you!
Once we approve your return, we will provide you with the information you need to ship back your item. Customers are responsible for return shipping fees. Also, please make sure to ship your package with a tracking number, as 49th Parallel Designs is not responsible for any lost parcels.
You’ll be refunded to your original method of payment. Please remember that depending on your financial institution, it can take some time for the refund to process.
Can I cancel my order?
Once an order has been placed you may email us within 24 hours to adjust or cancel. After 24 hours, your order is final and cannot be cancelled or changed. To hopefully avoid changes/cancelling, we kindly ask that you check the sizing etc. before finalizing your order, thank you!
What are your shipping times?
All orders are manufactured and printed on demand within 5-7 business days with shipping time being additional. We ship within Canada & US and include free shipping!
Please note that turnaround times begin after your order is placed. UPS Standard takes 2-7 business days on average for delivery depending on location.

- stolen packages or any lost items that can be tracked and marked as delivered.
- if the item has been shipped to the wrong address due to an incorrect entry, additional shipping charges will apply on the customer's behalf.
