I absolutely love this mug. It's such a great size and is so cozy to hold when filled with a warm beverage! Sometimes, with hobbity things, I know a hobbit wouldn't actually use it (like a t-shirt), but with this handcrafted mug, it feels like it was taken off a hobbit's pantry shelf!

About Seven Bends

Hi! I'm Becky, and I run this Etsy with my husband Shane.

I'm a professional artist and graphic designer. I enjoy illustration, digital art, pottery, and painting. My husband was the one who encouraged me to open an Etsy for my artwork. As a handyman business owner, he's a talented craftsman as well, and also contributes to the shop. All of our item descriptions will tell you which of us made what.

Our creations are inspired by our love of nature, outdoor activities, and cabin living. Generally, I paint and make much of the pottery, while Shane usually makes the woodcrafts and ashtrays.

All of our items are created with love, high up in the Appalachian Mountains. Each piece is unique and made by hand. "Seven Bends" is a reference to the Shenandoah River. There is an iconic section of the river famous for it's seven bends, though the entire river has much more than that.

Please feel free to reach out about custom requests!

Each purchase helps us cover the costs of clay, glaze, tools, paints, and more. We use brown paper over cheaper plastics in all our packaging. Thank you for supporting us and our dreams.
