I'm the "Cruise Director" for a blended family of 7- our days are loud, crazy and chaotic. after a few years in corporate America, like many, I found myself at home during 2020 and ready for something new. My love of embroidery, a funny or sentimental phrase and a good sweatshirt found their way to each other, and I began creating unique designs for my family and friends. Mid 2020 someone mentioned that maybe my sweatshirts would appeal to the masses and 7 Threads was born. The number 7 pays homage to our family and serves as a reminder of why I started. I love words and phrases that have meaning- my favorite is creating a sweatshirt with a quote for a customer that has a clear secret meaning. I believe in the power of words, and my sweatshirts are a fun way to spark a conversation without saying a word. I personally create each and every sweatshirt in my own home, from start to finish. I'm frequently interrupted by carpools and questions about someone's next meal, but I wouldn't trade my home business for anything. People say that when you shop small, you are putting food on a table, paying for a little girl's dance lessons, and helping a family thrive. In our home, this holds true- 2020 was a hard year but presented a wonderful opportunity for change. We found our family at a fork in the road and I am thrilled at the path we chose!
