A love of colour, line, texture and nature.

I have always been into making. I loved painting, drawing and making clothes from a young age. Anything crafty appealed to me. I studied Fine Art at University in Newcastle UK. After leaving I became a primary school teacher for 8 years and loved creating exciting art projects with the children. After leaving teaching I trained in jewellery making. Enamelling really excited me as it was so painterly and chimed so well with my Fine Art background.
I love to create textures and manipulate the metal to create an exciting surface to enamel. Colours, patterns and images inspired by nature all find their way into my jewellery. The possibilities are endless with enamelling and I can't ever image getting bored of it. It's such a creative process. I hope you enjoy seeing what I have produced in my garden home studio and support me on my journey. Thank you.
