Care instructions
Carbon Steel Chef Knife Care
Hand wash only using warm water and mild dish soap immediately after use. Never soak or place in the dishwasher—prolonged moisture, high heat, and harsh detergents will damage the steel and handle materials. Dry the knife completely with a lint-free or paper towel before storage, ensuring no moisture remains along the edge or spine. Do not leave resting on damp surfaces.
Carbon steel will naturally darken and develop a patina with use, especially when cutting acidic foods. This is normal and protective. If red rust appears, remove gently, dry thoroughly, and apply a light coat of food-grade mineral oil. Store in a dry, low-humidity environment.
