I love working with paper. Folding paper is meditative and paper is more than just a material. Paper CAN do more than digital. See, feel, hear, smell. Communication at all levels. Paper is valuable.
It all started with small paper objects as gifts for friends. The joy of these unique pieces and the increasing demand for where to buy something like this led to the idea of going public with my work and offering it online.
Whether it's a unique piece or a limited edition item, all of my products are designed by me. Handwork and details are important to me. I create the origami models in the old traditional way without gluing or stapling.
When choosing materials, I try to pay attention to the environment. Short routes and recyclable paper as well as old book pages or sketch and writing sheets serve as a basis for me, in addition to beautiful papers that I simply have to share with the world.
As a graphic designer, I also design writing and coloring books for children. Writing by hand is important for fine motor skills and self-confidence. It also promotes concentration.

Ich liebe es mit Papier zu arbeiten. Das Falten von Papier ist meditativ und Papier ist mehr als nur ein Material. Papier KANN mehr als digital. Sehen, Fühlen, Hören, Riechen. Kommunikation auf allen Ebenen. Papier ist wertvoll.
Mit kleinen Papierobjekten als Geschenk für Freunde fing alles an. Die Freude über diese Einzelstücke und die sich häufende Nachfrage, wo es so etwas zu kaufen gibt, führte zu der Idee mit meinen Arbeiten an die Öffentlichkeit zu gehen und sie online anzubieten.
Ob Einzelstück oder Objekt in limitierter Auflage, alle meine Produkte sind von mir gestaltet. Handarbeit sowie Details sind mir dabei wichtig. Die Origamimodelle erstelle ich nach alter tradioneller Art ohne Kleben oder Heften.
Bei der Auswahl der Materialien versuche ich auf die Umwelt zu achten. Kurze Wege und recycelbares Papier sowie alte Buchseiten oder Skizzen- und Schreibblätter dienen mir dabei als Grundlage, neben sowieso schönen Papieren, die ich einfach mit der Welt teilen muss.
Als Grafikdesignerin gestalte ich zudem Schreib- und Malbücher für Kinder. Das Schreiben von Hand ist wichtig für Feinmotorik und Selbstbewußtsein. Nebenbei fördert es die Konzentration.
