Creating for Creators ✨
Hi! I'm Beatrize and I'm the creator of ABComicSVG! I'm based in San Francisco, CA but you can occasionally find me walking too slow in NYC!
But what is ABComicSVG?
I initially started creating comics on Instagram during a time where I was struggling with end stage renal disease (ESRD). I wanted an outlet to distract myself from reality as well as express my creativity, and I found it through storytelling and illustrations. This somehow led me to illustrating educational workbooks for school aged children, and discovered the world of self publishing. All my fun creations eventually had me creating and providing silly doodles as commercial use clip arts (SVG & PNG) to those who have big ideas but don’t necessarily have the illustration skills to express them!
So the name ABComicSVG is pretty much just an amalgamation of things I've dabbled in, each of which my brand identify with in different capacities, hehe.
I love doodling in digital art but I'm also into traditional mediums, particularly realism with good ol' colored pencils. I'm also into strange and "why would you do that" mediums like drawing in code (html, css, and js).
