Gorgeous. Gorgeous. Gorgeous. Joanna did a portrait of my Austrian 2nd-cousin and her new husband on their wedding day as a wedding gift for them. My cousin, this young lady's mother, is beloved to me. We bonded over a visit when I was 13, and she has kept in touch, despite the miles between us, and even welcomed us into her small apartment home a few times. Needless to say, I wanted to get something VERY special for her daughter and new son-in-law. I also wanted it to be modern/contemporary, as they are young (late 20's). Joanna's art is perfect! It is modern and contemporary while at the same time being very personal and intimate. This makes it the perfect wedding gift! Joanna was lovely to work with. She sent me photographic updates of her progress and incorporated my family's "suggestions."
