Jewelry designed to celebrate moments that deseve more than a candle or a Hallmark card
I grew up in the heart of the SF Bay Area years before the startups turned it into Silicon Valley. which seems fitting given I’ve always had an entrepreneurial streak. Walk into my childhood bedroom and you’d have found me making something to sell to the neighbors. Sales were dismal (a few dollars here, a compliment there), but the joy of creating something out of nothing and sharing it was everything.
Then came a decade in corporate work — the kind that pays the bills and quietly kills your soul. I did it well but eventually I took a hard look at my life and asked the real question: was I building a life, or just a résumé? And that’s how I found my way back to what I loved.
My first collection launched in 2000: rare gemstones woven into precious metal wire. Delicate, at a moment when the whole industry was going big and loud. Everyone told me feminine and quiet was the wrong bet. I made it anyway. The work found the people it was meant to find, and they stayed.
As time has progressed, so has my design focus. Gifted Jewelry was born from a simple question: what would I actually want to give someone I love in a moment that matters deeply? Not a gift card. Not a candle. Now I make jewelry for the moments a Hallmark card doesn’t cover — because I’ve lived enough of life to know those moments deserve one.
