I think it's rather silly that at age 18 we choose our career path for the rest of our lives. It's not that I don't enjoy my job... but there are so many different opportunities in the world and I wasn't even aware of most of them when starting college. Fast forward to my late twenties, working in healthcare but missing the creative aspects of life. I've always had a lot of hobbies and enjoy everything from knitting to live music to travelling - but with calligraphy I found a creative outlet that I've become quite passionate about. With so much encouragement from people around the globe sharing their talent, I figured why not really delve into something I love?! Having done calligraphy for friends and acquaintances, Etsy is my first stop at truly establishing a place in the artists' world.
