Finding cool stuff... putting it on my head!
Once upon a time there was a girl who loved jellybeans...
I've always loved dressing up. Whether it be for a festival or a party, or just to add a little sparkle to everyday life, it was my absolute favourite thing to do.
A few years ago I was doing the costuming for a school play and the girls were dressed as Greek goddesses so I decided to make them flower crowns. I bought hundreds and hundred of the best quality silk flowers and had heaps left over at the end. I really enjoyed making the crowns so decided that with the leftover stock I would play around with some of my own unique designs.
I started making flower crowns for friends and family and people were responding really well to them!
After successfully selling at markets, I decided to open my own Etsy store! Thus AJellybeanPrincess Etsy store was born.
I've always been a mad crafter and collector of all things quirky so I started adding little novelty items to my headpieces and tried different styles other than the classic 'flower crown'. I then realised that millinery was my passion and decided to go to millinery school!
I now spend almost all my free time either crafting, collecting cool and unique items to pop on my headpieces or talking craft to anyone that will listen! I make about two headpieces a week and although I've had my Etsy store for a few years now, it's only in the last few months that I've started listing all the headpieces that I've made so that the love can be shared around the world!
I'm now Etsy obsessed so be ready for many new and exciting headpieces to continually be popping up in my store.
