Passion for nature and fashion has spawned my love for jewelry
Ever since I was a little girl, I have always been fascinated with nature. At age 6 I began going to Gem and Mineral shows and started collecting mineral specimens. Fast forward 30 years and my obsession has only grown. I have always been drawn to raw crystals, stones and metals. These materials will always be the source of my inspiration.
I studied fashion design in NYC for a little while, but ended up getting my Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and Photography. After graduating, I kept finding myself still being drawn to the fashion world. I've always had an eclectic style, but throughout the decades I remain the most connected to bohemian and vintage styles. I was always searching high and low for unusual ethnic pieces and I could never find large statement necklaces at an affordable price. It was at that point it finally hit me! Why don't I just try and make something for myself? That is how my story as a jewelry designer begins.
Whenever I am designing, I make sure to ask myself, "would I wear this?". If the answer is no, I know I am straying from my core. All of the pieces you will see for sale in my shop are designs that I personally wear. I think fashion should be fun! I love wearing statement pieces and being bold. I do have some simple items as well, but they will always be unique. I am excited to see what the future may hold!
