I fell in love with this pattern instantly and needed to make one of my own. The pattern was clear and simple to follow which I appreciated as a newbie to embroidery. I didn’t use the metallic thread suggested, but it still came out pretty sweet!

This is a GREAT VALUE pattern! TWELVE designs! I have completed all but one and they absolutely lovely! There is so much versatility here! I made mine with Plum as the main color and ecru and greens as accent. Very pleased. I will be making sets of these in various colors as Christmas gifts. THANKS!

I'm a homeschooling Mama who loves to wake up in the wee hours of the morning to paint, draw and design.

My shop began as something to use up my nervous creative energy while our family waited to adopt our second son. We'd had many heartbreaks in the past as we tried to grow our family (including infertility, 14 foster placements and one failed adoption). I was terrified of having my heart broken, yet again, so I began to throw myself into creating. I painted and drew and embroidered and I learned how to use Adobe Illustrator.

I also found strength in my faith and so the name of my shop came from a verse in 1 Peter: "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."

The image of Lively Hope stuck with me. It's not sitting-around-and-waiting hope. It's active and lively. Because I have hope I'm filled with joy and the desire to create beauty every day. To make a long story short, the adoption went through and we were blessed with a spunky, cheerful and determined baby boy in addition to our brilliant and beautiful daughter and sensitive, sweet and athletic first son.

Now I create in between diaper changes and homeschool lessons and I still need to find hope every day. I'm a better Wife and Mama because I make time to create.
I love being able to share my hope and my art with you.
