I confess, I love rust. I also love fur and the smell of mothballs but that is another story….
I can spend hours in an antique store. I love anything and everything old, especially things that can be worn. When I’m looking at a limp, dingy, lifeless Edwardian tea skirt I can sense the excitement of the girl who wore it for the first time. So I buy it and wash it four times before it’s really clean. Then I spend half a day ironing hundreds of knife pleats and as it returns to the breathtaking little confection it was when new I feel an amazing sense of wonder. As though I have traveled in time and can see her twirling around in it, smiling brightly. Want to see it?

Returns and exchanges

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
Vintage items are almost always pre-worn and will typically have some level of wear. We make a tremendous effort to accurately describe our items and note any noticeable flaws. Detailed photos are provided to further illustrate condition and appearance. Measurements and weight (when applicable) are provided for the buyer to determine proper fit.

We welcome and encourage you to ask questions and/or request additional photos prior to purchasing if needed.

If somehow we described an item substantially incorrect (i.e. significant damage or flaws not noted), we will accept returns under the following conditions:

1. We must be notified within THREE (3) days upon your receiving the item to request a refund. The item must be shipped within SEVEN (7) days upon an agreed return.

2. IF AN ITEM IS DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING BUYER MUST COMPLY WITH ALL REQUESTS REQUIRED BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY, INCLUDING PROVIDING PHOTOGRAPHS OF DAMAGE IN AND OUT OF THE PACKAGING IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A REFUND. NO EXCEPTIONS.

3. Items MUST be returned in the same way that they were sent. If your item was shipped with delivery confirmation and insurance, it must be returned using those shipping options. If it was shipped in a box, it must be returned in a box.

4. Items must also be returned in the same exact condition as it was when it originally shipped.

5. We do not refund shipping costs associated with returning the item.

6. Refunds will be made via PayPal only.

10. Refunds will only be made AFTER the item has been received by the Seller and/or the insurance company has paid the claim.

Returns will NOT be accepted for buyer’s remorse, if an item doesn’t fit or for color variation (each computer displays differently).

ALL OF THE ITEMS I SELL ARE VINTAGE, ANTIQUE OR PRE-OWNED UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED, THAT MEANS THAT THEY ARE NOT NEW AND WILL HAVE SOME WEAR TO THEM. I WILL DO MY BEST TO DESCRIBE ANY PROBLEMS, DEFECTS OR PARTICULARS THAT ARE VISIBLE TO THE EYE. I AM NOT A JEWELER OR JEWELRY EXPERT, I SELL JEWELRY AND OTHER ITEMS AS THEY ARE MARKED, THEY HAVE NOT BEEN TESTED UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE, NOT AFTER, YOUR PURCHASE. MY OPINION OF CONDITION MAY VARY FROM YOURS AND WHAT I THINK IS IN GOOD CONDITION, YOU MAY THINK IS IN TERRIBLE CONDITION, SO PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS. PLEASE TRY TO REMEMBER THAT I AM HUMAN AND I NEVER TRY TO INTENTIONALLY MISINFORM ABOUT AN ITEM. I TRY TO REPLY TO MY EMAILS WITHIN 24 HOURS, SO PLEASE DO NOT WAIT TO THE LAST MINUTE TO ASK A QUESTION ABOUT AN ITEM. I ONLY ISSUE REFUNDS IF THE ITEM HAS BEEN GROSSLY MISREPRESENTED, NOT BECAUSE WHEN YOU RECEIVE IT YOU DECIDE THAT YOU DO NOT LIKE IT OR THAT YOU CANNOT RE-SELL IT.

PLEASE NOTE: IF A PACKAGE IS RETURNED OR "REFUSED" BY THE BUYER, THE SELLER WILL DEDUCT A 20% RESTOCKING FEE FROM THE PURCHASE PRICE OF ITEM AND ALL SHIPPING FEES, INCLUDING RETURN SHIPPING, WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.

I gladly accept Paypal as well as Direct Checkout.
I expect payment within 3 days or I will relist the item.
Shipping
Combined international orders over $200 will be shipped USPS Priority International ONLY. The cost for this will be $65 to $70 and I will lose money on shipping in every transaction. This is the only way to guarantee tracking on international packages. I DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS TO CHINA, RUSSIA and EASTERN EUROPE for ANY reason. So please purchase with that in mind and feel free to ask lots of questions. Unfortunately, I have encountered a large number of fraudulent buyers from those countries. I have decided I don't want to punish the honest people in those countries by refusing to ship to them and this is my only recourse.

PLEASE BE ADVISED, ALL PACKAGES WILL BE PHOTOGRAPHED PRIOR TO SHIPPING TO ENSURE THAT ALL CONTENTS ARE INCLUDED.

IF YOU HAVE AN UNCONFIRMED ADDRESS REGISTERED WITH PAYPAL, WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES.

Seller will ship within two business days of receiving payment.

We package every item carefully with paper tissue or bubble wrap and ship in either a padded envelope or box, depending upon the size/weight of the order.

Shipping within the United States is via USPS First Class Mail. If you would like Insurance and/or tracking on your item please convo me for additional charges.

International customers are responsible for duties, taxes, and other fees incurred on international packages. Also, please be advised that I will NOT falsify customs documents by marking a package as a "gift" on customs forms.

I am NOT responsible for shipping delays due to Customs in the receiving country.
Please do not leave negative feedback for me because you are unhappy with the Postal Service or Customs Service.

All items are maintained in a smoke free environment and stored with care. However, Seller cannot guarantee that vintage items have been stored in a smoke free environment prior to their acquisition by Seller.
